fellowship of 152 Bible Societies around the world. The mission of BSA is to
translate, publish, distribute and engage people with the Bible, both in
Australia and internationally.

Role
Specifics:
Reporting to the Head of
Strategic Partnerships, this role is part of the National Fundraising Team
which operates throughout Australia. Based primarily in Brisbane, but
encompassing regional Queensland, the purpose of this role is to engage with
churches to gain their prayerful and financial support of BSA. The successful
candidate will be responsible for:
· Developing and nurturing partnerships
between churches and BSA through visitations
· Providing resources
· Raising awareness of our mission with ministers,
pastors and church representatives
The principle objective of this
role is to raise funds from churches in order that BSA fulfils and expands its
mission in the world.
Key
Criteria:
To be considered for this role it
is essential that you have:
· A proven track record in relationship
development
· A passion for global and local bible
mission
· Fundraising experience
· Excellent public speaking, presentation
and communication skills, ideally within a church context
· The ability to organise your work
independently, using your own initiative
· A desire to further the Christian message
through the work of Bible Society Australia
· Willingness to present to Church and
Community groups outside normal work hours including speaking at Churches and
events on weekends and evenings when necessary
· The flexibility to travel within
Queensland
· Current Driver’s License
