Location:                   Sydney (Parramatta), open to other locations

About this Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity exists at Alphacrucis College (AC) for a VET Accreditation and Compliance Officer to make an important contribution to this growing area. The purpose of this position is to support the development activities of faculties, coordinate AC’s interactions with ASQA and ensure ongoing compliance with relevant government standards.  While training can be provided for the successful applicant, previous VET experience would be highly valued.   
This part-time position will be preferably based in the Sydney (Parramatta) campus, however, all applications will be considered.

The key responsibilities of the VET Accreditation and Compliance Officer include (but are not limited to):

·    To support AC’s development and growth in the VET sector.

·    To ensure AC’s ongoing compliance against the requirements of ASQA and the VET Quality Framework.

·    To ensure diligent reporting to relevant government agencies as required in support of point (b).

·    To coordinate AC’s participation in annual VET student surveys.

·    To oversee compliance and quality assurance activities for AC’s VET courses including assessment compliance and validation activities.

·    To complete and submit applications to ASQA for the addition of courses to scope (including CRICOS).

·    To maintain the accuracy and currency of information held by ASQA including, but not limited to, fit and proper persons and delivery locations. 

·    Other VET accreditation and compliance activities as required.

To be successful for this position you will have:

·    Substantial administrative experience;

·    General experience in the VET sector;

·    Previous experience specifically working with ASQA and/or ASQANET and/or VET compliance would be highly valued;

·    Understanding of the VET system in Australia, ideally including the VET Quality Framework (particularly the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015);

·    Attention to detail;

·    Ability to work both independently and collaboratively;

·    Advanced skills in written and oral communication;

·    High level proficiency in computer skills;

·    Commitment to the Christian faith that informs one’s professional and personal choices and commitments.
