The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a newly created role, which means that you will have significant scope to influence your own focus. It is an opportunity for an experienced and commercially oriented leader to work with other energetic leaders to further ignite the next phase of our development. All sites are Sydney based, and the role will require frequent travel to each site.

 

The type of person we need

We are a people-centred organisation and our values are informed by our Christian DNA.  As a key member of our new Leadership Team, we need someone with an active faith and a desire to see lives changed through their Christian character.  We require a strong leader, one prepared to make hard decisions, adept at having difficult conversations but in a manner that is equitable and done with compassion.

 

Key responsibilities

Providing service to 200+ employees spread across 15 sites, this role will involve:

·       Project management and applying resources to various projects, including building programs, and facility upgrades.

·       Managing and monitoring risk and safety in compliance with WHS policies, procedures and safe working environments.

·       Managing Integricare’s freehold and leased properties, including leading a team responsible for facility management and repairs and maintenance.

·       Preparing budgets and ensure projects are kept within budget.

·       Managing contracts to ensure effective and efficient delivery of Integricare services, i.e. IT, telecommunications, utilities, leasing, tendering, insurance cover and claims.

·       Procurement management, including maintaining effective relationships with suppliers.

·       Monitoring and developing strategies related to IT, technology platforms, and technical issues.

·       Governance and compliance with Integricare and relevant statutory bodies’ policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

·       Assisting the CEO in Business Case formulation for new and existing services.

·       Providing meaningful reports for the CEO and Board Meetings.

·       Providing effective leadership to a small team and being proactive in their professional development.

 

Expertise Required

·       Demonstrated leadership capability gained in a middle management role with a similar commercial focus in a multi-dimensional organisation (approximately three years’ experience).

·       Experience with NFP community organisation, preferably Christian.

·       A high level of experience in contract and supplier management.

·       A working knowledge of the early learning sector and regulatory requirements.

·       Experience supporting managers in a multi-site environment

·       Significant experience with leasing, MOUs, and occupancy agreements

·       Demonstrated experience in facility management and upkeep services preventative building maintenance programs.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

·       Degree or post graduate qualification in either business, law or accounting

·       Capacity to actively promote our Christian identity

·       Current NSW Drivers Licence

·       Current Working with Children Check (or ability to achieve the same)
