Imagine changing lives without leaving your desk.

Bring your vision and over the horizon perspective to this Executive position.

About the role:

In this newly created position you will be vital to the success of our new five year Strategic plan. You will be a member of the Executive Group (of seven) and report direct to the CEO, ensuring all people and culture activities are aligned with our strategic direction and values. Leading eight direct reports across the core functions of human resources, you will elevate the operational capability of the organisation with innovative and contemporary solutions.

Your key focus will be the implementation of contemporary workforce improvement strategies that support a workforce of nearly 4000. As we look to grow our organisation even further, we need to build strong and best human resource processes to support that growth; we need to be better before we get bigger

Working with the results of our very recent Cultural Survey, you will operate with strategic intent to ensure we have the right culture DNA embedded across the organisation. You will have a key leadership role in realising the desired organisational culture, identifying and developing key culture, and engagement.

About you:

You are an experienced People and Culture leader, with proven skills in strategic and policy development, with demonstrable results and outcomes. Passionate about human resource capability and deliverables, you're ready to deliver practical solutions that speak to the heart of our organisation. You're a problem solver by nature and want to work with an organisation that values the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and stakeholders.

You have previously led multi discipline teams, inspiring them to deliver results and achieve shared goals. Experience across the full spectrum of people and culture areas is a given and if you've had that within a similar industry or not for profit sector, that would be great.  Our diversity, operating in multiple industries and geographies, results in a complexity that won't phase you and you've possibly experienced in past roles.

Experience at a senior level is a given but you will also need ambition and energy to take on the challenges this role presents.

As a member of the Executive team, you need to be an active member of a mainline Christian denomination.

Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of:  unconditional love; mutual trust; wise stewardship and continual innovation.
