About the role

The successful candidate will join our high-performing team and play a pivotal client-facing role. They will liaise with key stakeholders and co-ordinate marketing and communications activities to outwork McCrindle’s vision to know the times and shape the trends.

Key areas of responsibility

Marketing and co-ordination of McCrindle Speakers

  • Marketing McCrindle Speakers to new and existing audiences
  • Co-ordinating marketing communication to promote McCrindle Speakers (incl. use & management of key marketing channels such as blog, EDM, video, social media)
  • Responding to incoming speaking enquiries
  • Engagement management for McCrindle Speakers including managing travel, event bookings and relationship management with clients and key contacts

Event co-ordination of McCrindle events

  • Co-ordinating 3-5 targeted McCrindle events per year in accordance with marketing plan
  • Working with colleagues to co-ordinate marketing & communications to support events

Media relations

  • Managing media enquiries and interview requests for McCrindle Speakers
  • Distributing content for media through various channels
  • Relationship management with key media contacts

Executive support to Principal

  • Executive assistant to Principal including managing email, diary, travel and accommodation
  • Responding to incoming phone calls and enquiries
  • General office administration support as required

Skills and attributes

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, events, communications or a related field will be helpful but is not essential.
