An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Expressive Arts Coordinator to run art sessions for children. As the Expressive Arts Coordinator you will be responsible for the delivery and leadership of this program. You will have a dedicated team of volunteers to help make your program fun, safe and in an educational environment.

The successful candidate must have extensive experience in working with children (preferably primary-aged), as well as outstanding communication skills and experience in leading a small team.


We are seeking someone with experience working with primary-aged children to deliver creative expression, inclusiveness and building social confidence to encourage and extend the children’s areas of interest through the arts. The role will involves running the expressive arts sessions for children, managing volunteers, facilitating volunteer training, maintaining risk management procedures, and collaborating with various community stakeholders for program activities.

How to apply for this job


You must hold minimum:

·       Certification of Masters of Art Therapy

·       Demonstrated experience in working with children

·       A current and valid First Aid Level 2 Certificate and CPR Certification  

·       A current Employee Working with Children’s Check is a must for this role and applicant must be prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
