The role

The Communications Executive is an integral part of the McCrindle team, playing a vital role in championing the vision and executing the strategy of McCrindle through our various communications channels and relational networks, and helping facilitate a vibrant and friendly office environment for our small but growing team.

We’re looking for someone who is a great team player and brings their whole heart to their work. The successful applicant will love connecting with people through a variety of digital and physical mediums, and working alongside a passionate team to achieve success together.

This entry level role would suit someone who is looking to learn or further develop the skills that will be vital for any successful 21st Century business: digital marketing, social media, problem-solving, collaborating with colleagues and clients, and contributing to a professional and inspiring working environment.


Key areas of responsibility

·       Communications support

·       Responding to inbound phone and email enquiries and taking initial client briefs.

·       Assisting with engagement and relationship management for the team of McCrindle Speakers, including managing diary bookings, meeting schedules, and travel and accommodation.

·       Assist with developing marketing collateral and marketing communication to promote McCrindle’s suite of solutions.

·       Assist with creation and distribution of communications and marketing initiatives.

·       Providing support with organising events.


Content creation

·       Curating content and, along with our Marketing & Communications Manager, managing our social media platforms including Facebook, Youtube, Linkedin, Instagram and Twitter.

·       Preparing and distributing media releases, proactively identifying opportunities for internal and external research to be used by the media.

Administration and office support

·       Managing inventory of marketing and product content.

·       Manage relationship with corporate accounts suppliers.

·       Additional office administration support as required.


Skills and attributes

Qualifications in communications, marketing, administration, or digital media are helpful although what will impress us most is the ability to communicate well and connect relationally with others, and a passion to learn and grow just as our business grows and constantly adapts to the needs of our clients.
