About this Role

We are seeking a talented administrator with a ‘can do’ attitude and ‘serving heart’ to join a small team that exists to super-serve our very talented staff & volunteers. As P&C Assistant, you will be responsible for all HR administrative-related activities to ensure People & Culture is able to meet the growing demands of the organisation. You will play a key role in a relationship-driven service department that provides practical, action-based assistance.

The focus of this role is the delivery of timely and accurate administrative support across a range of P&C functions including recruitment & selection, induction, training & development, compensation & benefits, OH&S, facilities and volunteer management. This will include

·       Preparation of employment and volunteer documentation including contracts, letters and other HR documents

·       Management of staff information using our HR Information System

·       Assisting with the development & management of Company policy and procedure.

·       Coordinating administrative components of the recruitment & induction processes

·       Assisting with support documentation for key projects in training & development and compensation & benefits.

·       Coordination of our work experience and internship programs throughout the year

·       Supporting key HR initiatives such as the performance review process and the annual employee engagement survey

·       Providing relief receptionist duties

·       Assisting with mail pick up & drop-off, Station errands and facilities management

·       Working collaboratively with other areas and their staff as required

About You

·       You will have demonstrated experience in a HR Administrator or Office Administrator role; a qualification in Human Resources is an advantage but not essential

·       You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines in a planned and methodical manner

·       You will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with initiative and a strong customer service focus

·       You will have exceptional attention to detail and enjoy working with both people and process.

·       You will be flexible and adaptable; willing to jump in and help out wherever needed.

·       You will have the highest level of discretion and confidentiality when dealing with employee information and paperwork

·       You will be confident with technology and will be a whiz on the PC and databases.

·       You will align with our vision & values.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly motivated, passionate and innovative workplace. The role is for an initial 6 month period through to end of December 2018.
