Junior Administration / Reception Assistant


Part time (20-25 hours per week)

We are a boutique investment management company with a great supportive team. Located in Melbourne city, close to public transport. We are seeking an entry level Office Junior who will work closely with the Administration and Client Services Team.

This part-time position will be the first point of contact, also providing ad hoc support to the team.

The successful applicant of this position will be a highly motivated and a friendly individual with a "can do" attitude. Possess outstanding communication skills, be personable and professional in their demeanour.


Your duties will include but not limited to:

·       Answering, screening and directing phone calls and taking messages

·       Meeting and greeting guests/ clients in the office and assisting in meeting needs

·       Provide administrative support to all members of the team

·       Assist in organising catering

·       Opening and Distributing mail

·       Organising Couriers

·       Booking bin pick ups

·       Monitoring the meeting rooms/ assist with booking rooms for staff

·       Printing/ binding/photocopying/ scanning/ filling/ typing duties as needed

·       Monitoring and maintaining the kitchen tidy

·       Stationery orders and maintaining of supplies

·       General office administration duties as required


The successful applicant will have:

·       Ability to use own initiative

·       Proactive attitude

·       High level of communication skills (both written and verbal)

·       The ability to work autonomously, take direction and work as part of a team

·       Some knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·       Excellent organisation and time management skills

·       Exceptional attention to detail

·       Professional phone manner

·       Well presented

Administration experience is not essential, as training will be provided specific to the role.
