Help us Build CMA 2019!

The CMA Conference relies on about 50 speakers and facilitators to deliver sessions across multiple streams to our audience of Christian leaders, managers and board members.

As we progress planning for our 2019 Melbourne conference (and other CMA events as well) we need your help to identify who may be able to contribute!

If you know someone who has the relevant knowledge, experience, and good communication skills, please nominate them below, and we may contact them.

As we continually seek to provide a diverse conference faculty, we are particularly keen to identify women, younger people, and people of diverse cultural backgrounds, although we welcome all suggestions of people who meet the criteria (at bottom of page). You ARE welcome to nominate yourself.

Selection Criteria

Must be able to address a topic relevant to the CMA audience: organisational leadership / management / governance. (So topics like fundraising, HR, culture, finance, executive leadership, strategy, technology, charity law, church management etc)
Must be able to put their topic clearly in a Christian ministry context, with an understanding of Christian faith, Christian organisations, the Scriptures etc. This is a Christian conference!
Must be able to speak from experience - with a track record. Must be able to 'walk the walk', not just 'talk the talk'.
Must be a competent communicator, able to engage the audience.
Must be willing to donate their time and travel at their own cost. CMA cannot remunerate 50 speakers!
Must be willing to refrain from using this opportunity as a 'sales channel' for any product or service they offer. This is not primarily a marketing opportunity, it is a ministry service opportunity. They don't need to 'hide' what firm or ministry they represent, but the session needs to deliver valuable training and insights, not advertorial.
Must be on board with CMA's ethos and culture.
