Rev Tim Meyers

Tim assumed the role of Executive Principal of Eastern College Australia at the end of 2017 in addition to his role as Principal of Melbourne School of Theology, a position he’s held since 2011.

Tim’s experience prior to joining MST included 12 years in senior leadership roles with mission agency ‘Pioneers’, and almost a decade in pastoral ministry with Baptist churches in Queensland. Prior to moving into ministry roles, he trained and worked as a professional musician. He later became a secondary school teacher after graduating with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Melbourne. Tim is also a qualified commercial pilot with Mission Aviation Fellowship.

Tim grew up in a missionary family in Papua New Guinea before moving to Melbourne during high school where he later met and married Kathryn with whom he had five children and two grandchildren.

Tim completed his Master of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary (Texax, USA) with majors in Systematic Theology and Bible Exposition.
